Any party to a commercial contract will be concerned to ensure that the anticipated benefits of the contract are not outweighed by the potential risks and so will seek to limit its contractual liabilities in a manner that achieves a sensible balance between risk and reward. But provisions limiting liability are probably those which are most heavily regulated and discussed at the greatest length, and in the welter of “what if …” scenarios it is easy to lose sight of the basic principles and the parties’ objectives.

How should limitations on liability best be structured to both achieve your own business objectives and secure the performance you expect from the other party? In these webinars, we look at some of the key issues in structuring and negotiating liability provisions.

This webinar on focuses on the principles of limiting liability including:
