Lesley Gregory, Memery Crystal’s Chairman, is delighted to have been shortlisted for the ‘Mentor of the Year’ Award, which is run by Women of the Future 2019.
As one of the few female Chairmen at a UK law firm, Lesley has worked to expand the firm’s international offering, founded a successful female entrepreneurs’ network and encouraged an internal culture focused on diversity and core values – all while maintaining her top-rated corporate practice. She is one of only five lawyers (and the only woman) ranked “Band 1” for AIM by Chambers UK, and the only woman ranked “Band 1” for Corporate/M&A: Mid-Market.
This year, Lesley has led on some of the firm’s biggest deals, including advising BDO on their merger with Moore Stephens to create the fifth largest accountancy & advisory firm in the UK, and advising Gaming Realms on the sale of Bear Group to River iGaming.
Lesley is also a mentor for the ‘AllBright Mentors’ Programme.
The Woman of the Future Awards were conceived to provide a platform for the pipeline of female talent in the UK. The platform offers a community of influential women determined to build fruitful professional and personal relationships with others, as well as helping a new generation of business talent.
The Awards ceremony will take place on 7 November.
