Memery Crystal is delighted to announce that Lesley Gregory, chairman and corporate partner, has been shortlisted by the Law Society’s Excellence Awards 2017 in the category of ‘Woman Lawyer of the Year’.

The shortlist was announced on 3rd August with the awards taking place on the 19th October at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel.

As one of the few women Chairmen at UK law firms, Lesley Gregory has worked to expand the firm’s international offering and encouraged an internal culture focused on diversity and core values – all while maintaining her top-rated corporate practice. She is also one of only five lawyers (and the only woman) ranked “Band 1” for AIM by Chambers UK, and the only woman ranked “Band 1” for Corporate/M&A: Mid-Market.

The Excellence Awards aim to bring together and celebrate the best that the legal profession has to offer across solicitors, teams and organisations in England and Wales. The awards are now in their 11th year and champion excellence across a range of categories.

The Woman Lawyer of the Year award celebrates those who have not only achieved professional excellence in their field but who have also implemented a scheme at a senior level which benefits their business in a variety of different ways.
