Memery Crystal acts for Beacon Hill Resources Plc on US$21m AIM fundraising

Memery Crystal LLP acted for longstanding client Beacon Hill Resources Plc in connection with a placing to raise approximately US$21 million. The proceeds will be used to complete important infrastructure upgrades and facilitate the commencement of coking coal exports later this year.

Beacon Hill is an AIM and ASX listed company with a portfolio of projects in commodities relating to the steel production industry, including its flagship Minas Moatize Coking Coal Project in the Tete Province of Mozambique.

The Memery Crystal team was led by corporate partner Michael Dawes and included corporate associate Rumit Nanji, corporate assistant Kate Seabourne and trainee Lara Magor.

Michael Dawes commented: “Beacon Hill has recently made great progress in securing rail allocation for its Minas Moatize project and raising a significant amount of money in a difficult market. We’re delighted to continue our involvement with the company as it increases production at Tete.”
