Memery Crystal is pleased to announce it has advised BDO LLP on its merger with Moore Stephens LLP. The deal, which completed on 1st February, will see the consolidated firm operate under the BDO name and brand and will place BDO as the UK’s fifth largest accountancy firm in the UK, ahead of Grant Thornton.
Current BDO Managing Partner Paul Eagland will lead the amalgamated firm. Moore Stephens’ Managing Partner Simon Gallagher will be joining the firm’s Partnership Council.
The combined firm creates the largest UK accountant and business adviser focused on entrepreneurially spirited, fast growing businesses and high net worth individuals.
The Memery Crystal team was led by Corporate Partners Lesley Gregory, Greg Scott and Nick Alfillé alongside Senior Associate Krishen Patel.
