Memery Crystal are delighted to announce that we have advised, alongside US law firm Foley Hoag, process mining and Execution Management Software (EMS) company Celonis SE, on its acquisition of Lenses.io Limited, a DataOps platform for Apache Kafka and Kubernetes.
Celonis SE are the global leaders in execution management and pioneered the process mining category 10 years ago when they first developed the ability to automatically x-ray processes and find inefficiencies.
The acquisition of Lenses.io enables the combined group to create an unparalleled platform with real-time data for large scale customers with multi-tenant environments.
The Memery Crystal team was led by Chair Lesley Gregory and director Karen O’ Grady, involved input from the firm’s corporate, commercial, IP and technology (CIPT), and employment and employee incentives teams as well as the close involvement of Foley Hoag in the US, and input from other overseas advisors; Jones Day in Germany and Zepos & Yannopoulos in Greece.
Director Karen O’Grady led on the corporate aspects of the transaction assisted by associate Alex Stanciu and paralegal Priya Morzeria. Partner Jonathan Riley led the CIPT team alongside solicitor Kasia Reda and trainee Sylvia Muller. Senior associate Mark Rose and solicitor Alfie Bright led on the employment aspects with consultant Euan Fergusson covering the employee incentives aspects.
Memery Crystal Chair Lesley Gregory commented: “It was a pleasure to work with Foley Hoag and the Celonis SE team in helping them deliver this strategic acquisition, which creates a one-of-a-kind combination of Celonis’ world leading Execution Management System and Lenses. Io’s streaming data ingestion capabilities, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds as they continue to pave the way in the sector.”
