Memery Crystal advises on the acquisition of SmartSpace Software Plc by way of a scheme of arrangement

Sign In Solutions’ interest in acquiring SmartSpace was announced on 22 January 2024. The boards of SmartSpace and Bidco released a firm intention announcement on 14 March 2024 and the scheme of arrangement became effective on 1 May 2024.

The team acting on the transaction consisted of Corporate Partners Ed Baker and Robert Bines-Black, in conjunction with Corporate Partner Lesley Gregory and assisted by David McClellan, Jaya Pradhan, Jack Rudgeley and Georgia Little in the Corporate team and George Jackson and Alex Willis in the Dispute Resolution team, with Euan Fergusson advising on options.
