Memery Crystal LLP has acted for finnCap Limited (“finnCap”) in its role as nominated adviser and broker to Utilitywise PLC (“Utilitywise”) in connection with Utilitywise’s successful admission to AIM and associated £6.86 million fundraising.

Founded in 2006 and based in Tyne and Wear, Utilitywise is a leading provider of energy procurement and energy management services, having established trading relationships with a number of major UK energy suppliers.

The Memery Crystal team included corporate partner Lesley Gregory and corporate associate Lucie Brackenbury.

Lesley Gregory commented: “We are delighted to have worked again with finnCap and to have assisted with Utilitywise’s successful fundraising and admission to AIM, which will support its further growth and development.“

Memery Crystal is ranked among the upper tier of law firms for its AIM experience, acting for smaller to medium-sized public companies and off-shore funds, as well as for their nominated advisers and brokers.  In April 2012 Memery Crystal retained its top spot among law firms in the Morningstar Professional Services Rankings Guide (AIM Edition) based on the total number of AIM clients, as well as on the market capitalisation of AIM All-Share clients.
