Memery Crystal is delighted to announce the appointment of Matthew Lindsay as Head of Real Estate. Matthew joined the firm in April 2015, his experience in real estate finance, particularly investment and development, together with his reputation as a highly regarded adviser has helped galvanise Memery Crystal’s real estate finance practice. Matthew’s recent transactions include a £18million refinancing for a major hotel chain and the funded landmark property purchase of the Thomas Goode building in Mayfair.
Growing and strengthening the department has been a focus in recent months and Matthew and the firm are very pleased to have been joined by Joanne Kelly, formerly of Taylor Wessing, who will be taking up the role of Head of Construction. Joanne has over 15 years’ experience in the construction and engineering sector, her knowledge and expertise in areas such as real estate development and performance bonds on construction and engineering products will bolster the current real estate offering.
Along with Joanne, the department also welcomes Daniel Abrahams, partner and Craig Jones, associate, both formerly of Philip Ross and both of whom join our commercial property team. Daniel and Craig have experience advising on all aspects of acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant, development schemes and lettings and pre-lettings. They have developed a strong client base, acting for property investors and traders, developers, asset managers, retailers and offshore funds.
The appointment of Matthew as Head of Department and the three lateral hires will cement Memery Crystal’s offering of a full-service real estate department.
