Rumit Nanji will co-lead the Banking and Finance practice alongside Partner, Matthew Lindsay.

Memery Crystal is pleased to announce the arrival of partners Jonathan Riley (Commercial, Media & Technology) and Alex Barnes (Tax) to the firm.
Jonathan specialises in commercial law and commercial contracts work. He advises on sales and marketing, agency, distribution, licensing, franchising, sponsorship, merchandising, e-commerce, and related regulatory areas including data protection, anti-bribery, and consumer protection. He is also highly experienced in project structuring and delivery, and in managing and exploiting intellectual property rights.
Alex’s practice covers a wide range of corporate and real estate matters. He advises on corporate transactions including M&A, reorganisations, tax reliefs and incentives for investors and tax efficient exit planning. His real estate expertise includes working for occupiers, investors (UK and offshore) and developers, and he also provides advice on a number of other finance matters, including withholding tax, double tax treaties and FATCA.
