Opportunities to list and raise capital in London are at their healthiest in five years. The unique combination of London’s balanced and robust regulatory standards, unparalleled choice of equity markets and the largest pool of institutional capital focussed on international companies has this year produced outstanding conditions, particularly for Canadian companies.  Over the past year, Canadian companies alone have successfully raised around US$250 million through primary and secondary issues on AIM and the Main Market.

Memery Crystal is ranked among the top tier of law firms for its AIM experience, and has now acted on 40% of AIM to Main Market moves over the last 2 years. The firm has been ranked “Band 1” for AIM in the most recent edition of the Chambers UK legal directory, with particular experience acting for companies operating in North America, Africa, Australia and Asia.  In the most recent edition of the Corporate Advisers Rankings Guide, the firm was ranked as the #1 legal adviser acting for UK listed natural resources companies (including AIM & Main Market) as determined by Morningstar.
