Liam Hill is an Associate in the Commercial, IP and Technology department.
His experience covers a range of non-contentious commercial and IP matters and is regularly advising, drafting and negotiating a range of contracts with clients, to include IP licensing, terms of business, manufacturing agreements and supply contracts.
In particular, Liam has experience in advising a range of growth companies in the SaaS and technology space. He also has experience in leading data protection audits and subsequently drafting data processing agreements and data privacy policies following the completion of data mapping exercises. Liam additionally works closely with colleagues in our Corporate team, primarily assisting on M&A matters.

- Drafting a range of SaaS agreements for SMEs, to include a SaaS agreement for a product governance provider, as well as negotiating against a number of international banks on the terms of sand-boxing and subsequently licensing online platforms.
- Advising client on the terms of its trade mark license with Oracle Red Bull for the production of an official Red Bull show car simulator.
- Advising client on the terms of a master services agreement with a service provider to supply 200+ petrol stations in the United Kingdom with hardware and software.
- Advising an international climate charity on its data protection audit, to include assistance with data mapping, transfer impact assessments (to include for India, China and Brazil) and the preparation of data processing agreements.
- Drafting a manufacturing and supply agreement for a vegan fast food restaurant and providing intellectual property advice in respect of its unregistered trade marks and product names.
